We’re thrilled to announce the next chapter in our evolution—our transition to Scribie.ai! This move represents our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and providing the best tools for both our team and clients.

What will change: The transcription process will be streamlined to enhance efficiency. The transcription, review, and proofreading steps will be phased out, leaving only the QC step in the workflow for human transcription. Under the new process:

1) Standard transcription will follow ASR (Automated Speech Recognition) + Human QC; and

2) For specialized orders such as legal, business, or medical transcription that include custom formatting, the workflow will involve ASR + Human QC + Human CF (Custom Formatting) + Human Finalizer.

This streamlined approach ensures faster processing while maintaining high-quality standards for all transcription and formatting orders. We will also be introducing more tools to enable our QCs do their job better and faster by leveraging AI and LLMs models at each step.

Why the change: This update aligns with our adoption of an AI-powered transcription process with a human-in-the-loop approach, ensuring we maintain our high-quality standards while leveraging advancements in AI technology.

How will I be affected by this change: For QCs in Good Standing: There will be minimal changes to your workflow. You will continue to select files from the Available tab as before. However, the QC rate will see an increase, ensuring better compensation for your contributions. For Proofreaders, Reviewers, and Transcribers: This change introduces a new opportunity to advance within the platform. We are developing a test process to qualify more individuals as QCs. Stay tuned for updates on when this process will be rolled out, allowing you to participate and potentially elevate your role to QC.

When will this take effect: The transition to Scribie.ai and the new workflow will be rolled out in phases, beginning Jan 13, 2025. Further updates and instructions will follow.

Will the login process change: No, there is no change to how you log in to the platform (it remains the same at https://scribie.com/account/sign-in).

Note: The transcriber guidelines will be updated soon with these changes.
